Green Policy

As a wedding invitation designer, I try to reuse and recycle. I try to use stock that is recycled or is partially recycled. Extra envelopes and ends of paper stock and larger cut pieces are given to area preschool and elementary art teachers. And we always recycle all our toner cartridges as well as our bit and scraps of paper.


All estimates are good for 30 days. All prices may be changed without warning but any contract will of course be good for the amount charged.

Invitations and "day of" stationery will be invoiced separately.

We ask for a $100 deposit to get started or to book you as a client in the future. Digital files are paid in full at time of ordering. We have limited spaces to work with brides and reserve the right to decline a job. We will refund all deposits if we can not work you into our calendar.

The remaining part of all invoices is due prior to printing.

Sales Tax is charged on items bought in the state of Illinois.

Deposits can be kept if a design date is cancelled. That said, if an emergency happens please let me know as soon as possible. I am not unreasonable.

Non-payment of any bill will result in the amount of the bill as well as all expenses being sought by all means possible.


I ship Priority Mail with confirmation and insurance on projects that cost more than $30. If you would like to upgrade shipping, please let me know and I will add the additional postage to the second part of the bill. International orders are all shipped USPS.

For international orders, we ask for a 6 week window in case of custom issues. We are not responsible for any custom dues, duties, taxes or tariffs a country might add to a international order.

Samples are shipped by First Class Mail. They can take 4-6 business days to reach places in the US and up to 8 days for international orders. They are not tracked. If you would like tracking or priority mail, please let me know and I will set up a custom listing for the additional postage.

Refunds and Exchanges

All printed projects will be proofed and previewed by customer as they are being designed and a final proof is required before printing. Due to the custom nature of printing no refunds or exchanges can be made. I insure all invitations and am not liable due to loss or neglect of the postal service that is used.

Postage and mailing is the responsibility of the client and we can only advise to the best of our knowledge and experience. B. Designs or Beth Cote cannot be held responsible for any extra postage or mishandling by the postal office. We strongly recommend bringing a sample set to the post office for pricing and best delivery method or mailing one to yourself. Hand canceling and non-machinable fees may be required but is never a guarantee against damage so please allow for ample time and extra sets in case things do go wrong.

Design Approval

Client understands and agrees that actual product colors and appearance may vary slightly from the digital proof. In the event Client's products arrive appearing materially different than that which Client approved, B. Designs will correct the affected product at no additional charge. Client covenants and agrees that B. Designs is not responsible or liable for any errors in Client's products once Client approves the final proofs. Client understands that B. Design's products are hand-made and therefore individual items may vary slightly. Client understands all policies above with concern to B. Designs and agrees to them by purchasing the deposit.


Beth Cote owns all copyrights to the artwork here and all custom artwork unless a license agreement is signed by both parties.
